WordCamp Kobe was a big succes. In total 596 people attended the event.

WordPress is one of the most popular  Content Management Systems that is used for running websites. WordCamps are organized all over the world and educates people how to use WordPress and how to program for the platform.

WordCamp Kobe was organized by hard working volunteers with financial help from sponsors. Among the sponsors were both multinational corporations and local small businesses. Many had stands and advertising materials setup throughout the venue.

Before the presentations and workshops started in the afternoon, there was an un-conference . The crowd was able to choose a group leader with a particular topic of conversation. This informal setting resulted in vibrant group discussions.

WordCamp Kobe was certainly not only interesting for the programmer or web design professional. Among the visitors there were many users and non-users of WordPress who were just curious and wanted to learn a thing or two about the platform. The presentations and workshops accustomed the different types of visitors. There were advanced courses for the professional and introductory courses for the starting WordPress user.

A big thanks to everyone who made this a great event!
